Welcome to our Classroom Blog.  I will be sharing with you the learning that takes place within our classroom over the course of the year.  Feel free to comment on the children's work.  This will make it even more exciting when the children get to hear your thoughts about what they are doing in class and it is a great opportunity for you get to see what your child does during a school day.

Room 9 - 2020

Pre school Visits

For those children that are turning five, they can start school visits 4 weeks out before starting school.  The visit times are from 9.00am till 11.30am.  The children participate in our morning routine, play investigation, eat morning tea and play till the end of this break time which is 11.20am.  

                                           

           

Art - Mosaic Names

                                                               

In the first week of school our first art activity was to use our names to learn how to create a mosaic.  Our names are important to identifying who we are and for many of the students new to our class it was a a great activity for sharing our names with our class mates.  The children are proud of their names and enjoyed this activity.  They were very confident in the process considering it was a new way of creating art.
